MOSCOW CLUBBING

Russians like to party : at week-ends clubs are very crowed. The Russian night scene tends to change quite often. The most updated information is available in 2 magazines: Metropolis, the week-end supplement of the free English daily paper “Moscow Times” and the weekly magazine “Element”. Here is a summary of the main gay clubs that you will find in the capital. Do not forget that the metro stops at 1 am and unless you keep clubbing until 5.40 am, you might have to call a taxi.

Be extremely carrefull with "private taxis" offering their services at the exit of the clubs and bars. We have been reported cases of tourists and Russians who used these "private taxis" and were robbed and beaten.

The club was closed for several weeks in Spring 2006 but finally reopened as a non gay club. In fact, Gays continue to come but the owner doesn't want to officially advertize as a gay club. 2 dance floors, 4 bars a billard roomand a backroom…Many young guys on friday and week-end.

The club has been closed for several months in winter, spring and summer 2006. It has re-open as a sauna and club. Not open every day. Check before to go.
