I think this is happening because a shortage of knowledge needed to better comprihend the homosexual ideas. Knowleage is becoming a key factor for comprihanding. It is a well known fact that In eastern and developing societies knowlege lags behind religion and cultural values. That is why a new system of values, a new ideology need to be created. But this ideology cannot be based on religious teachings that played a crucial role 2.000 years ago, but are unable to fulfill their mission today. The religion is an opium for knoeledge. Thus the new path of social and cultural developmet shall be toward more knowledge, culture, and science. I think that the gay community should be protected just like everybody else. Im 16 and gay in the us and its bad all over the world for gays but it is bad in russia and I want to really support your actions. You are a strong country and should be united and not seperate yourselves because of sexuality. Its not a choice to be gay you are born gay. Its like telling your child you dont love them because they look spanish and not russian. We all have the same blood flowing within us and we all breathe the same air and live on the smae planet.
